Travel Portland Celebrates 30 years

Travel Portland threw itself a 30th birthday party on June 24 and also honored hospitality and visitor industry leaders for their excellence during the very challenging past year.

The 30th Annual Tourism and Hospitality Industry Awards Breakfast saluted 22 businesses that joined Travel Portland in its inaugural year (when it was called the Greater Portland Convention and Visitor Association) and have remained partners ever since. Dave Heinl, the agency's first CEO, was a featured speaker.

Travel Portland presented its visitor industry awards at this highly attended citywide event.
