This 10-day festival of new works features plays, dance performances, staged readings and a compilation of short films. Celebrate the cocoa bean in all its forms at this annual festival, held Jan. 20-23 at the Oregon Convention Center. The Artist's Touch, The Craftsman's Hand This exhibit, running through Jan. 22, 2012, features gems from the Portland Art Museum's remarkable collection of Japanese woodblock prints. Lan Su Chinese Garden welcomes the Year of the Golden Dragon with lion dances, lantern-viewing and more, Jan. 23 through Feb. 6. The Feb. 17-26 festival will feature Branford Marsalis, Dee Dee Bridgewater and many other talented musicians.
